| Configure Bluetooth Synchronization - HotSync Manager | |
| 1) From the Windows desktop, right-click the Bluetooth
icon (located in the System Tray near the clock) and select Advanced
Configuration.

| 2) Select the Local Services tab and click
Bluetooth Serial Port. Be sure to note the COM port on which
the service is installed (in the example; COM3) then click OK.

| 3) From the Windows desktop, right-click the HotSync
icon (located in the System Tray near the clock) and select Setup.
|
|
| 4) Click on the Local tab. Select virtual serial
port that Bluetooth is using and click OK.
|
|
| 5) From the Windows desktop, right-click the HotSync
icon (located in the System Tray near the clock) and select Local.
Setup is complete.

| 1) Press on the Home key until All appears in
the upper right corner.
|

| 2) Locate and tap on Bluetooth.
|
|
| 3) If Bluetooth is Off, tap On to turn Bluetooth On.
Tap the Setup Devices icon.
|
|
| 4) Tap on HotSync Setup.
|
|
| 5) Tap Next.
|
|
| 6) Tap on the desired PC and tap OK.
|
|
| 7) Tap Next.
|
|
| 8) Tap Next.
|
|
| 9) Tap Next.
|
|
| 10) Tap Launch HotSync.
|
|
| 11) On the PC, enter a Bluetooth PIN Code and click OK.
|
|
| 12) On the handheld, enter the same Bluetooth PIN Code that
was entered on the PC and tap OK. (optional: Select Add
To Trusted Device List)

|
| 13) The user will be prompted (on the PC) to select Always
Allow This Device To Access This Service. In most cases this
should be enabled. If the user does not enable that action the PC
will always prompt for the Bluetooth Service Authentication. Click
OK once the decision is made.

| 14) Bluetooth synchronization setup is complete.
